Happy 3 Months!

Size

You are progressing into 3-6 month clothing. You are in the middle of 0-3 months and 3-6 month clothing. You are what I can guess growing amazingly. You don't have an appointment till 4 months (which I need to make with your new pediatrician).

Health

You seem as healthy as can be. Growing steadily and chunking up beautifully!

Feeding

You are still breastfeeding and are pretty pro at it. Mommy got her first cracked nipple out of no where this week and it hurts... badly. You wake up once during the night to feed but we will get to that in the next section.

Sleep

You like to fall asleep around 10-11 and sleep for on average 6 amazing kick-ass hours!!! Wake up to feed and sleep for about 3-4 more hours. Wake for 1-2 hours and fall asleep for 3-4 hours (which I usually get all my errands done during that time of the day). Then through out the day you will have 2-3 more naps through out the day and end with a shower and cuddle time then repeat.

Milestones

  • You are conquering the 6 - 7 hour sleep at night which mommy loves.
  • You continue to love your baths
  • You coo a lot more and STARTED to laugh, it is the cutest thing in the world
  • You smile when I ask you are you a pretty smart girl
  • You sleep the first huge leg of the night in your rock n play
  • You are now in size 2 diapers
  • You are wearing some 3-6 month clothing
  • You recently started taking pacifiers and sucking your fingers to help soothe your self; which mommy is excited about

Until next time. . .

1 | 2 | 34 | 5 | 67 | 8 | 9

1 | The rock n play has been amazing; with moving and staying in a hotel and my mother in laws it is so easy to fold up and put away or transfer to other rooms. She sleeps in it for the first part of the night (6-7 hours) and it is pretty amazing!

2 | The bouncer was more fun this month because she has started to notice the toys attached and she loves the harder vibration (compared to the rock n play).

3 | I was amazed that Walmart had any nursing items and love these tank tops. They are for 1. AFFORDABLE compared to other places. (why is it nursing clothing have to be so damn expensive!!)

4 | Mila won't take paci's until recently I changed to this Dr. Brown brand and MAM (see item 7). She didn't like the soothies any more and the basically round long paci's. She liked the more flat ones and has been recently taking them like a champ. She needs to be soothed more than her brother did and she's been sucking her fingers but now the paci's are helping her soothe herself lately. (mommy lifesaver)

5 | I got two of these cool toys from Target. You can pull these and they crinkle back up, she can later teethe on the wood when she is getting her teeth, and they are just so darn cute to add to her car seat.

6 | The iPad has been great for multiple things. The most important and cutest thing is she loves to look at herself on the iPad. I'll let her look at herself in the camera function and she just coo's and smiles and loves it. I think it has to do with the light because she doesn't do this while looking into a mirror. Another thing is I found some videos that stimulates babies on YouTube and she is just fascinated with it. It also helps when mommy needs her hands to put her make up on in the morning.

7 | See # 4

8 | I won this awesome SkipHop bag and I already had a diaper bag and a purse I used as a diaper bag but wanted to give this a go and I love this one the most! Due to all the pockets I get a lot more use out of this bag and it doesn't feel as bulky. I can fit lots of things and it feels lighter than my other bags did. Also, I can hang it on the stroller so I don't weigh my shoulder down.

9 | I've been going out more and traveling so this changing pad has been put to use and I love how soft and cushy it is because I've had to change Mila in some not so baby friendly places and felt okay with her on it!

Until next time. . .

what's happin.

Huge update.

3 year old and an almost 3 month old, house packed up....

Baby girl napped on me 3 times and little guy played iPad and ate in our own little corner while our life got packed up for 8 hours.

Last picture in our Texas home.

Another huge thing that changed this month is that I drove from the middle of no where Texas to the Panhandle of Florida (aka home) all by my self with a 3 year old that totally kicked ass and an almost 3 month old that totally hated the car seat. I endured tears, traffic, rain, and screaming. It is something I never want to do again but a huge sigh of relief to have it done with. Hubby will be joining us with the dogs this weekend thank goodness. I feel bad because he has worked his butt off (over 12 hours of kicking ass) and then comes home to clean the house so we can get our deposit back. ANYWAYS. We also got a house! It isn't everything I want but it will do for a year. That is all I will need to live it for. We will find out where hubby's next base is while he is on his tour and I will either buy a house here (if he gets the base he wants) or I will look online at our choices at our follow on. Here is a sneak peek at our new home.

My baby girl Mila got to meet my best friends daughter Gabby and it was pretty much the cutest thing ever.

Another thing that has been different lately is the weather. We moved from dry heat to humid heat and baby girl already gets hot and warm quickly and she is pretty cute when sleeping.

I'll update later about our new home and other things later.

Until next time. . .
