1 | was a (frequently often) type of a day that I couldn't do anything without holding her and when I did she gave me this face
2 | is the cutest about to cry during sleep faces

3 | Louis learned how to take a picture on my iPad and Mila started smiling
4 | She's been gnawing on her hands lately and I caught her sucking on her thumb [cutie]

5 | This [boys] outfit I bought BEFORE I was even pregnant (while we were TTC) and I told my self I had a boy perfect, if I had a girl I'd just put a bow on her and she is rocking this outfit!
6 | My babies

7 | Boy, 2 months goes by fast!!!

8 | Cutest little cupcake outfit from Gymboree my dad got for her
9 | Poor baby got her 2 month shots and she only wanted to lay on me when she slept

10 | Passed out Mila this morning and reminded me of a dog picture (couldn't find the one I was thinking of but this is basically the same thing) and just giggled and had to share.

Size

Clothing- YOU ARE IN 0-3 MONTHS! You can never guess how fast your baby is going to grow. Louis was mostly on formula (breastfeeding issues) therefore he gained a lot of weight fast and before I knew it he was always in the next size or sizes. Mila has taken her time since she is mostly breastfed and supplemented also because she wasn't gaining much weight. But she is now 11 lbs and 5 oz and she can be off of supplements!! :) Which is awesome because I had a really bad time dealing with not bfing Louis. She is doing great with bfing and I'm so happy.

Health

You are perfect. 11 lbs 5 oz, 21 inches (so they measured but not the best because she apparently "lost half an inch" at one appt.) Putting her in the 50th percentile for weight and 10th percentile for height. You are gassy a lot so we do a lot of bicycling; mommy doesn't know what she should cut out. I already cut out milk because it made my tummy upset (first time in forever).

Feeding

You feed pretty normal through out the day (after nap/before nap), but at night you cluster feed so much!

Sleep

It still varies, usually it's 4-6.5 hours, eat, then 2-3 hours, eat, and another 2-3 hours or 4 hours, eat, 4 hours, eat, and then 2-3 hours, but before you even sleep you cluster feed then finally pass out around 11-12 which lately you've been going to sleep at 11 but I wish it was 9 or 10.

Milestones

  • You've been sleeping longer
  • You still love your baths
  • You are cooing a lot more
  • You are smiling a little more
  • You love your new bouncer (I know not a milestone but it's something new)
  • Still in size 1 diapers

Until next time. . .

One and Two Month Favorites

Saturday, June 14, 2014

one  |  two  |  three  |  four  |  five

six  |  seven |  eight  |  nine

 ten  |  eleven

one  |  ten  - We are currently residing in Texas and moving to Florida next month and the tank tops during the day work so well since it is so hot already. It is also hot at night and baby girl gets warm fast so I've been letting her sleep in a plain onesie and blanket/swaddled.

two - I love this thing even though it is bulky. It keeps her safe and comfortable. She loves bath time so much and takes a nice sleep afterwards.

four  -  This is where she sleeps. We are moving next month and besides that I am not ready for her to be in a crib just yet. This is easy because she is secure and sleeping right next to me. Which makes it easy for those late night/early morning feeds.

three  |  five - I love the aden + anais brand because they are so soft and versatile. The swaddle wraps I've used for burp cloths, swaddling, light blanket, wipe up leaking milk (if you know what I mean), and many other scenarios.

six  |  eleven - We originally bought this car seat so we wouldn't have to switch later, but honestly it wasn't ideal for us. Mila was so small and it didn't sit well with me, her little self in this huge seat (even though she meets the requirements). So, I gave in and bought an infant car seat and I love it and can feel safe with her in it. I also bought these attachments, so I can put her new car seat in with my favorite stroller. This stroller glides like butter and is so easy to break down with one hand.

seven  - This machine is a life saver and milk saver! Mila wasn't fond and sometimes still isn't of nursing on the right side and I wanted to keep my milk supply up, so I have had to pump mainly on the right and it has helped me out so much! I love this pump and this is my second round of using it and it still has much life to it!

eight  - I love this little play mat because sometimes she just wants to lay down and she stretches and plays on this semi-quietly.

nine  -  I wanted to stick with glass bottles as much as possible and I love these Life Factory bottles because I can use these later as sippy bottles.

These were all bought by us (except the stroller I won last year or given by family/friends for Mila) and our all our own 100% opinions.

Until next time. . .

Rimmel London Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara: $5.99
It wasn't the worst mascara but it was not the best either. I have so many mascaras so I most likely won't rebuy this one.

Kiss Everlasting French Nails: $6.49
I haven't used these yet due to having my nails done already but I have used this brand before and I love the short nails. It is perfect if you don't want to get a full set but want to have nice nails for a short period of time. I love it.

Peach Pie Car Freshener from the Labor Day Movie
It smelled good but it didn't last long at all.

Playtex Sports Fresh Balance: around $4-5
I just had a baby a month and half ago so I have no need to use these yet and I have never tried this brand before; I usually use Kotex so I'll give these a try when I ... need them.

Nivea Skin Firming Hydration Lotion: $2.50 for small one $11 for the big bottle
I don't know if it really firms but it does it's job for moisturizing. Although, it seems with EVERY Nivea product I have ever tried has a smell to it I particularly do not like.

Bonus Item:
Softlips Cube: $3.50
I was surprised that I liked this item. I have tried the Softlips stick products and felt like it didn't do anything for me but this cube really seems to moisturize my lips.

Thank you Influenster for sending me this box!
