Let us catch up!

Sorry I have been MIA. The holidays were great. My birthday was amazing. Hubby has been on leave and baby and I have been soaking up the time together.
Recently we've been doing family walks a couple times a week at a KOA location. I enjoy it a lot and feel better afterward.
Last Thursday baby and friend had a little photo shoot with mommies friends and their kids. I'll post pictures towards the end.
Then on Saturday we went to our neighbors for some amazing food and to watch a UFC fight. Little did I know baby would have A HUGE crush on an older girl (I thinks he was maybe 10-12) [everyone is older than him basically]. He kept kissing and hugging her. (TOTALLY NOT READY FOR THAT). Anyways. Let's catch up on photos.

Enjoy.

Gorgeously Grunge.

I had the honor again, of photographing Selena along with friends. She wanted to do a grunge themed shoot and it was a very chilly day, but she was a trooper and much fun!
Here are some of my favorites.

This months meeting of a photography group I am in, we had the amazing chance to learn, use equipment I could only dream of having, and photograph an amazing model. The model actually is a model and a photographer and married to one as well. I learned so much and got to experiment with flashes, and equipment of that sort since I usually just use natural light!

Here are some of the photos I did!

Luckily, we were fortunate to get snow (after Christmas) but nonetheless in the middle of no where Texas we got snow! I made sure I got a picture of baby in it because the last time we had snow was last year in South Dakota and he was 9 months old. He still didn't care for it. He looked around at it and didn't even touch it. But I got some adorable pictures of him!

Giggly boy!

Smiley!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends!
Hubby, baby, and I stayed in TX and enjoyed every single bit of relaxation and stress free fun!
Baby got tons of gifts, including gifts we gave him before Christmas. . . such as
clothes and much much more.
Hubby got some awesome gifts this year too.

I just want to say I am so grateful I have met some amazing friends at this duty station (& FAST!). We also share a common passion for photography. One particular photographer & friend (who you are probably tired of hearing about but I do not really care)  Dani  teaches, tells me, and shares so many new tricks with me. A lot of photographers that I come across do not want to help, share, or spread their knowledge with fellow friends/photographers. Anyways back to the post.
First.
Dani and the client invited me to a Boudoir shoot. I would have been so happy just to learn from the shoot, but no they are nice enough to let me shoot so I can add to my portfolio. The following photos are some of my favorites that I shot and thought would be appropriate and okay to share.

Until next time. . .

taking a risk for the shot.

Hi. My name is Stephanie and I have crazy allergies and am allergic to my own dogs and grass. Sunday, two great photographers and friends of mine had the opportunity to photograph a beautiful senior. The places we went to were basically in the nature and my lucky self is allergic to ... nature. I paid for it yesterday but it was so worth it! To get out in shoot makes me so happy. I keep learning every single time I shoot and just love it.
Here are some pictures from the shoot.

Enjoy.
